Volunteering Overseas

Our programme activity is identified on a proactive basis, however WFT will accept applications from individuals and groups, local to the North East of Scotland, who are undertaking an overseas volunteering opportunity.

Volunteer placements should be part of a longer term commitment to development and to building the capacity of the target communities. Planning on how best to share these experiences and learning upon return to the UK is vital. Furthermore, our supported volunteers must not displace local employment or business.
