Inspiring Scotland

WFT has made an initial investment of £300,000 to Inspiring Scotland's 14:19 fund to drive forward a venture philanthropy model to support and develop the Scottish voluntary sector to strategically engage with the 32,000 young people in Scotland who are not currently in education, employment or training.

The 14:19 fund is the first 10-year fund from Inspiring Scotland and will target 14-19 year olds who struggle to make a successful transition to adulthood.

The aim of the fund is to strategically support a finite number of Scottish charities with a blend of capacity support and finance. It is the aim of the fund to deliver up to £10 million per annum over a 7-10 year period. Inspiring Scotland has ambitions to lead change of real consequence.
