PSYBT

WFT has invested £244,000, over three years, to enable PSYBT to transform their engagement with over 6000 young people's businesses in Scotland by developing state of the art ICT solutions with a particular focus on helping the charity to develop a client-based extranet facility, an interactive business directory of all PSYBT businesses and providing ongoing IT support to manage the new technology.

The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT) is a charitable organisation that provides essential finance and professional support to young people in Scotland aged 18-25, whoever they are and wherever they come from, so that they can set up and run their own businesses. The Trust has a particular concern for the supporting of disadvantaged young people.

Many young people have innovative ideas for their own businesses but despite their enthusiasm and determination cannot secure the financial backing they need. If they are unemployed or without formal qualifications they discover that it is even harder to find anyone willing to support them. PSYBT gives young people a chance by providing the last resort funding and resources they need to achieve their ambitions.
